Novotel Zurich City West – Hotel near airport in Zurich

The hotel is located in a peaceful area, just a short walk from the tram station, making it convenient for exploring the city. The service was mixed, with one standout staff member at the restaurant, but overall not consistently welcoming. The dining experience was good with close proximity to food options like COOP and Migros, although the breakfast was described as monotonous. The location is excellent for transportation, close to the tram station that connects to various parts of the city and techno park.

The hotel is located in a bustling neighborhood close to the city center. The rooms were a bit cramped for a family of four and weren't ready until 8 pm, but the pool and gym are nice amenities. The service was mostly friendly and helpful, with a shoutout to Mr Abbasi Al Sharif. The location is convenient for business travelers but less ideal for tourists. The dining experience left something to be desired, especially the dry croissants and scarce breakfast options. Facilities were decent overall.

The hotel could improve on room comfort for four people but overall met expected standards with poor air circulation. Service had long queues at check-in during peak times and issues in the restaurant, yet staff were responsive to feedback. The location was practical, near transport options but not centrally located. The dining experience had a wide range of foods but faced challenges with service rush. Overall, a mixed experience with room for improvement in various areas.

I absolutely loved using the rooms in the evening as they remain open until 11:00 pm. The buffet breakfast was top-notch with a wide selection of continental and English options. The rooms were clean and functional, although we did find a surprise box of Tic Tacs hidden among the brochures. The new style was beautifully clean, ideal for a couple and a child.

The hotel's rooms were very nice and perfect for us; however, they didn't feel worth the high price we paid for the 4-day weekend. The required facilities were there, but the sofa bed made the space feel cramped.

The hotel provided a comfortable stay for two adults and two kids with various amenities, although the room was a bit dull and too small for kids to sleep well. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially from Dennis who went above and beyond. The location was fine but required planning to reach major stations, and the dining was slightly crowded but offered a wholesome variety. Overall, a decent choice with positives and some areas for improvement.

For my son's surprise Birthday weekend, the hotel was not worth the $600+ for the 4-day stay, and the service could have been better. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the location was convenient with easy access to transport. However, the dining experience had its flaws, and the hotel was not as close to the main attractions as expected.
